The Awakening

I met many kind and encouraging Christian women at a writer’s conference last Fall. Lucinda Secrest McDowell and Tammy Gerhard were among the women that  provided mentoring and inspiration as my inner-writer blossomed and the spark was ignited. The wick had shown forbearance and fortitude over the past decades, dabbling in the art intermittently. While at the retreat, my quiet time with Jesus gave me a renewed confidence and direction. I will be forever grateful to all the women and men who have supported, guided and walked with me in this journey. All glory be to God!
